After a long search with no results, I decided to post my problem on the forums.
So this is my problem, I cannot add files from my media library to my post, because i don't have any tab or window to do so.
If I'm not wrong. The documentation says that there should be a tab, but there isn't.
my wp version is 2.9.2
That's probably because that tab you are looking for usually only shows media directly linked to the post you are editing.

Thanks for the response, but i checked one of my pages and a media file witch is connected to it, same results.
