   Hi there, I purchased a domain and linux hosting via GoDaddy. I set up a MySQL DB through the GoDaddy Dashboard and am getting the error message on the first connect page: /wordpress/wp-admin/setup-config.php?step=1 which prompts me for my database connection details.

   For database name, should I enter in the hostname as provided in my server variables page? I.e., the name with sytax XXX.shr.prod.phx3.secureserver.net or the server XXX.db.6040814.hostedresource.com

   Should the username just be my login information to the database or should it have the @ with the IP address appended?

   Should my database host by localhost or something else?

   I'm pretty new to all of this so please excuse my lack of knowledge. Would appreciate any help.

   With GoDaddy, I believe the database name and the user are the same.

   This looks right for the DB_HOST -- XXX.shr.prod.phx3.secureserver.net
