• I just saved my first private message, because I just wanted to write myself a reminder of something, and when I went in to look at it again, I saw this message above it in the Edit screen.
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/moltenwo/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 348
I changed the message to a draft instead and it goes away, then it came back when I made it private again. I don’t know what this is. I don’t even know what wp-blog-header does, I’ve never looked at it.
Sound I be concerned about this? I don’t actually plan to use the private messages, since I don’t understand what they are for, if I can’t see them, except going in to edit them… but I just wanted to check this out…
    Thanks!

  • What version are you using? I’m no expert, but I’m sure you’ll be asked that.

I’m wondering if this has anything to do with an issue I’m experiencing… I just upgraded to 1.5.1.2 and as soon as I did so, a recent private post showed up for all to see. It wasn’t anything “incriminating,” but this could be a nasty surprise for someone using that feature for a private journal. I changed it to a draft and it went away.

This happened on two different installations. Both are on the same server but have separate databases. Hosted on DreamHost (CGI PHP). Any help is appreciated, thanks.

This thread doesn’t resolve either of these issues, but it does explain that private posts should be showing on the front page only when you’re logged in.

🙂 insomni, look at the date of the original post…

Ouch. Sorry… I was trying to be good and “Search First.”
