I've just seen a thread lifted off Facebook in it's entirety used in a private blog here on WordPress. Everyone's name - including mine and the blog owner, among others - appear on the blog. The thread is not lifted from the blogger's FB page. She is a commenter on the same Facebook thread. I'm not so pleased to see this. I question the ethics of republishing that thread here. Is this acceptable in this particular forum?

WordPress.ORG does not host or publish any blogs or websites. It's just an open-source, all volunteer-contributed software for creating websites. So we do not have any control what people use it for. If the blog in question is hosted by WordPress.COM (not the same as .ORG), please see: http://en.support.wordpress.com/disputes/
