i just reactivated my blog to be searchable under the privacy tab... (as i had it hidden from search engines) im concerned that when i re-activated it, that its still hidden... is there somewhere in the code that i can check this? to be sure when i re-activated it, it really did what it was supposed to? as before i hid the blog it was showing up at the top of search engines, then i i hid it... to keep people from seeing it till we launched. now that i re-activated, doesn't seem to show up at all!

the privacy setting creates a virtual robots.txt file
the easiest thing to do would be create a real robots.txt telling google what to index

also, you should sign up for google webmaster tools - this will also speed the indexing process
