Email address in forum profile

    I have a 4 year old profile here on the support forums and I have just realized that much to my surprise, somewhere along the way the system has made my private email address public and attached it to my profile name.

    Can I ask for the help of a kind-hearted moderator to delete/disable the account, or at least remove my email address from appearing everywhere on the forums?

    I have changed the email address associated with that account, edited profile and display name, but no, the email address (which happens to be full name) still there.

    Much, much appreciated if someone reaches out. Thanks.

    Your mail address is not appearing anywhere on the forums. You can see it when you are logged in because it is your profile & email address.

    This isn’t the account in question. I can see my email even when I’m not logged in, not to mention even my profile URL includes it. If you could help, I can share the account details.

    If you click on the profile for “blurb”, you will see my email address on the page and in the URL.

    If you could help me delete this account (or change the URL/profile display name) I would be much obliged.

    I’m sorry but you created that account using an email address and there is nothing we can do about it. We cannot remove accounts. 🙁

    No chance you could change the display name?

    Because I get the option to change it (and I do) but it still displays the email on my profile.
