Primary nav menu links padding uneven

    I’m experiencing an odd problem. On this WIP site http://vdausa.org/dev/ the top menu links have uneven spacing — but only on the links that do not have a child drop-down list below them. If you mouse off and on each one, the ones that have no child drop-down menus cause the problem.

    I’ve spent 3 hours commenting out CSS, changing CSS, going through it over and over and I’m stumped.

    Anyone else experience this?
    The theme is built from TwentyTwelve but I’m using a jquery menu.
