The homepage I am making for a website features three different categories of posts. Each posts is laid out differently and employs custom fields. The template for the page employs if else statements to detect the post category and to display the proper structure for each post type. Everything works well, except I cannot get the next_post_link and previous_post_link to work properly. At the bottom of every page, only the next_post_link appears, but the previous_post_link never appears.
