Are you using the WordPress mobile apps or the general wp-admin via a mobile browser?

general wp-admin but the suggestion would make life easier on the standard install as well.
The buttons are there on the browser version. If your mobile browser doesn’t show them, then that’s their problem/fault.
If you have a problem with a SPECIFIC mobile app (Android, iOS, etc), you should say which one 🙂
Nope this was a simple suggestion that having the buttons available on the editor interface would speed things up especially when in full screen mode. Perhaps I wasn’t being clear,
You’re not being clear, still. 🙂
When I use the domain.com/wp-admin/ interface to write a new post, I can see buttons for ‘Save Draft’, ‘Preview’ and ‘Publish’ on the far right, top most ‘box’.
When I use the WordPress iOS app for the iPad or iPhone, I have a save button that shows up when I make edits.
So yeah, I have no idea what you’re missing, cause it’s there on a stock install of WordPress. What interface are you using? A WordPress mobile app or the normal webpage that comes with WP? The wp-admin is the STANDARD WordPress ‘install’.
I usually work with WP editor in full screen mode. When you need to save you have to switch out of full screen to get to the buttons. It’s a small but irritating issue.
Took me a while. You mean the Visual (GUI) editor’s full screen mode. Yeah, I never use that. 😉
I suspect that’s as designed, since you’re making the EDITING area full screen, but you could ask at trac for that to be added in.
I’ve done that thanks for the heads up, how do you add your posts then?
HTML editor view. I’m old school 😉
I so like the full screen though it would ne nice to be able to flip between html and gui in full screen to ….
Back to trac methinks
Yeeeaaah do not flip between GUI and HTML. It’ll screw up your code. I use HTML and then have a preview screen open to see what it really looks like.
