    Hello everybody!

As you might have seen on different web sites (also in some wordpress theme viewer) there is a cool interactive way to preview a picture:

When clicking on the picture the background is dimmed and a white box appears in the middle of the screen. In the box the picture is loaded.

How can I create a similiar effect?
Do you know of any tutorial?

    Thanks a lot,
    Yours,
    Phillip

    Search for "lightbox".

That was exactly what I was looking for - thanks!

Question now is only how I can add it to my wordpress blog? In which PHP file do I have to write the three js libraries into the <head> tag?

Is there anyway to get it working with a gallery plug-in?

    Thanks again!
    Cheers

Probably the file to start with would be your theme's header.php.

    /wp-content/themes/YourThemesName/header.php

No clue on gallery, but maybe search here in the forums and see if anyone else has been down this same road?

A search that might interest you is lightbox wordpress plugin. They should automate the process quite a bit.

Maybe I do not understand the structure of the wordpress pages, but if I add some information (like the js libraries) only into the header.php can they still be accessed by content which is placed into lets say the footer? I mean does a code in the footer know what is written in the header?
