   It would be nice to have an optional "preview" button for the comments so people can check their post for errors before submitting.
   (I know there's a "live preview" plugin, but that's not what I'm looking for)

   In WP1.2 there is a preview pane that shows a preview of your article whenever you save it.

   Sorry, I should have clarified. I'm not referring to actual posts, but rather the comments that guests can attach to my posts.

   I've written a plugin to preview comments in WordPress versions 1.5 and newer. Check it out here: Filosofo Comments Preview.
