Preventing image caption from showing up in excerpt. (4 posts)

    Greetings.

I have a quick question. I've tried googling it for a few hours, but I could not find a solution to my problem.

I've recently set up a wordpress-powered site with a customized theme. The intention is to use it as a photoblog, and therefore, there will be little text, and often just galleries in the posts.

The problem is that image captions shows up in the excerpts, making it all messed up.

Take a look (sorry, the page is in norwegian): http://eksponering.net. Look at the top post called "Levende vesner". The excerpt is including all the image captions, but what I really want is just the plain text I write.

I hope this was explainable, and thanks in advance for any help :-)

Oh, by the way: the "more"-tag doesn't work either.. :-)

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

Thanks for the tip. Now I found out the problem is with the theme "PersonalPress", which I bought from elegantthemes. I guess I'll head to their support section with the problem :-)
