Prevent sub-pages from displaying on Parent page? (2 posts)

I am working on a custom template for a client ( http://www.marielletepper.com : Disclaimer: I'm just implementing, I did NOT design the look of this site! I built it out using Artisteer as a base, then tweaked the code by hand to fit her umm..."design") and have a couple of small, nagging issues.

The one I'd like to address in this post is: Her Photography page has two Child pages-Commercial and Personal. These are nested correctly and individually manage to display properly, but here's the problem: When clicking the top level, "Photography", she wants the Personal subpage to NOT display its content.

I tried having her uncheck Photography as a category for those posts, but it's made no difference. Any help would be appreciated! :)

    Thanks!

When clicking the top level, "Photography", she wants the Personal subpage to NOT display its content.

That's not the normal way WordPress works--change to the WordPress Default theme to confirm that.

For that to happen I'd suggest your Page Template is intentionally coded to display the content of the child pages.
