    Hello Mikko,

I was wondering if there was a way to prevent logging of user searches from a certain ip address. For example, if the site belongs to a large company and we don’t want to track what the company employees are looking for but only what site visitors are looking for.

From a marketing perspective we want to better deliver content that is being searched for. From a cms perspective we want all employees to have access to documents and information.

    Is this possible?

Relevanssi logs the IP addresses (if you set the options so), so I’d suggest you write a script that runs daily and cleans the searches from the unwanted IP address from the log. Should not be tricky.

I have that checkbox checked but I am not seeing ip addresses anywhere…
Would that be on the user searches page? Or is there a log file somewhere?

Just to be clear, I don’t want to track ip addresses for privacy reasons. Just to filter out my own.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!

They are stored in the wp_relevanssi_logs database, and that’s where your script should look for them. They are not shown anywhere in the WP admin interface.
