Pretty Permalinks on host with no mod_rewrite

    Hello !

    I found some similar posts, that “pretty” permalinks where index.php/ is in url does not work for some reason. On my host, other CMS like joomla have similar functionality and it works so far. So what exactly is the “fix” for this problem (i cannot add mod_rewrite).

    Better explanation – the “pathinfo” permalink like index.php/%postname%/ does not work as expected. Instead i get a 404 post not found page in wordpress.
