MystagogueThe wordpress codex says that for pretty links it is sufficient to have "Microsoft IIS 6+ using ASAPI_Rewrite". My hosting provider offers that, but when I make the setting change and manually add the .htaccess file as directed, the whole site goes belly up - with an IIS password error message served up.
When I delete the .htaccess file, my site comes back online. What might the issue be?
