Presentation wordpress

Hi,
I don’t want to disturb, but i speak very badly english and i didn’t find where i can configure my worldpress design. I try to open index.php but nothing are put it on…. I would like to change color, police, ecc….. like i’ll be able to make with my html editor soft. Please could help me ….
