Prepopulated pages and sidebars (2 posts)

Is "prepoulate" a word? Maybe that should be pre-populate. Anyway...

I want new sites on a multisite installation to already have pages with content and sidebars set-up. I'm less concerned with the sidebars because I can just write an HTML coded text widget and cut/paste in two seconds. (but it would be nice to use other widgets such as plugin widgets - and have them already on the site when it is born)

But pages is another story. I want new sites to have the same pages with content and there are seven pages.

I read in another forum post that there is a plugin, but I couldn't find it.

    Using the twentyten theme.

Digging further, I found a thread that seemed to deal with the same thing...

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-change-about-and-create-set-pages-for-all-new-multisites?replies=6#post-1585924

    Which led to:

    http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php#L105

Which DID at least show me where all this takes place, but my PHP isn't sufficient for making additional pages.

So, unless there is an easier way, I'll just set-up one blog at a time until I have too many users for it to be reasonable to do that. Then go from there. :-)
