    Hey guys,

This is an incredibly annoying issue for me and I'm not sure how to resolve it. I read the existing support threads on this issue and I've changed permissions accordingly, but I don't know what's up here.

When I upgraded to 2.1, I started seeing these 500 Internal Server errors. My error log shows the following:
[Thu Feb 01 05:53:04 2007] [error] [client x.x.x.x] Premature end of script headers: php4, referer: http://www.mysupercoolsite.com/wp-admin/comment.php?action=mac&c=5491

    or

[Wed Jan 24 12:40:13 2007] [error] [client x.x.x.x] Premature end of script headers: php4, referer: http://www.mysupercoolsiteisbroken.com/wp-admin/moderation.php

I'm not sure what this is, and unfortunately I'm not finding any search results in the forum that answer the concern. I reuploaded the files in question to no avail. My files are all chmod 644 and the folders are are set to 755. I'm at a loss here...

    Any ideas?

    Hey all,

Any tips on this? It happens almost every time :(

    Thanks for your insights.

Here's what I think is happening in one of the instances, because none of my users are reporting the 500 error.

I'm logged in as an admin user (though not as "admin") and reply to comments on my blog posts. Whenever I do, I get a 500 error.

It's only when I'm logged in rather than to everyone.

    Thoughts?

Do you meet the server requirements for 2.1?
    * PHP version 4.2 or greater
    * MySQL version 4.0 or greater
    * (Optional) Apache mod_rewrite module (for clean URIs known as Permalinks)
