Pre-populate venue in Add New Event form?

I made a button on the events form which let’s users create new events starting with all the data from a yet existing one, copying all the fields. I managed to pre-fill most of the general WP fields like title, content, author, category and featured image. Using hook eventorganiser_get_event_schedule I also got it working for Event Organiser fields like date and time. The only one I can’t pre-populate is venue, any hint how to do that?
