[resolved] Pre Populate New Sites (5 posts)

I'm sure there is someone out there who has done this already....

If there a way of pre populating content into a new site when its generated? For example, we add a new site and when it generates itself it automatically creates a series of pages.. maybe About Us, Who We Are, Where We Are etc that are filled with generic content. When the client then comes to login to that site to personalise it, the page structure is already there.

I'm sure i could write a script to write stuff directly into the database, but i thought maybe there was a more WordPress-style way of accomplishing it.

    Thanks in advance

Dalmation, I used this plugin that Andrea suggested and it didnt give me what I was looking for. I couldnt find a way for it to pre-populate pages and posts with content. Did it work for you?

I ended up using this one, although its not free unfortunately: http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/new-blog-template

You create a blog then this copies it to a new one, including posts, settings etc. Works pretty well.
