   Hi,

   I have been designing my site over the last two months getting the content right and have set the privacy to block search engines for the moment. It is now ready to be shared. My question is should I predate the posts for them to be more effective for seo's?

   Sorry but I am very new to this.

   Why would changing the publication date make any difference? Are these posts about specific dated events?

   They arent date specific. I was just checking to see if I should just let the dates reamain two months old and will seo still pick them up or would it be better to pre date them to make them more current?
