Pre-date entries? (3 posts)

    Hello,
this may be a silly question, but I'm new to all this and I couldn't find any forum posts regarding this, so here goes:

I'd like to have one organisational post to always be shown on top of all the other posts. I have another non-wordpress blog and am used to simply pre-dating the entry to, for example, February, 1st, 2060, to make sure the post will always be the first to be seen by visitors.
I just cannot find a similar function here. Do I need a special plug-in to manually date the entries? Or am I missing something?

    Help will be appreciated!
    Thanks, Lex

    Hi,
It says you are using version 2.6.
In ver. 2.7 you have the ability to "stick" a post to the front page without a plugin.
In ver. 2.6, you can use this plugin:

    Thank you!
I shall update my version to 2.7 - or will that change a lot of stuff?
