Prayer Request not hitting Database (3 posts)

    Hi Everyone,
    My site is http://24hourprayerchain.org

When a request is made, WordPress goes through all of the motions and I do not receive any errors.

However, when I go to view the requests using
    [pb-requests]
on a new page, I can view all of the included content, but I cannot view any requests.

I check the MYPHPADMIN and the tables are not populating.

    Any suggestions?
I am using a Windows 8 Server with IIS. (I did not configure this server, and I do not have any access to it.)

    Thank you!

I am having the exact same problem and I am using Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS. If I move it to go daddy (linux), it works fine, but once I move it back to my windows server it stops working. All of my other plugins write to the database just fine.

I had problem with this as well. I found the issue to be that there is no default closed_comment on inserts, so it would fail.

To fix it, you can open inc_display_pb_forms.php, and find the insert statement. I simply added ,'closed_comment'=>' ' after $time_now, and it worked like a charm.

However, the easier and smarter way probably would have been to just edit the table definition to have a default value.

    Hope that helps!
