Powerpress : Having trouble with Authentication for Premium Content (2 posts)

I have installed powerpress on the wordpress 3.1. I have set up powerpress to start selling subscription to podcast through premium content. For member registration I am using Magic Members.

When I try to access the RSS for premium content, the username/password login box shows up. HOwever, After I enter the details, it pops up again and again without taking me to the feed. I am sure that I am entering the right username and password but the login box keeps popping up.

Any idea what might be the issue?

    Regards

We do not support this feature, we've only added it by demand from other users. The complication comes in when you setup your own roles and capabilities. If you get it down to the basic common denominator, use the default user capability that PowerPress adds and make sure that user has that capability, then it should work. Chances are you are either using a different capability for the premium feed, or the other plugin has it's own capability (roles and capabilities) that you need to associate both the premium feed and the user to.

Again, we do not provide support for this due to how complicated the feature can get (We have a notice of this in PowerPress when you turn this feature on). If you want to pay for support with this issue, please go to http://www.blubrry.com/contact.php and express such interest, we will invoice you and schedule a time to work with you over the phone on the problem.
