    Hello,

    As I am trying to expand my organization and build up the community, I want my site to look professional. Is there a way in which I can remove the “Powered by WordPress” at the bottom of the page?

    If so, is there a cost to it? How much?

    I don’t think it is legal to go into the code and change it, so I am seeking your help..

    Yes, it’s perfectly legal. As to how to do it depends on your theme- a link to your site would be useful in helping with that.

    Depending on the theme you are using, you can usually find that info in the footer.php

    You can go and edit the theme file, or to be safer in case there’s an update to your theme, make a child theme first.
