Yep. Got another new site to show off. This one is for my partner's wife. She's started a social group for new mothers and fathers and wanted to have a site to help organize their activities.

    Potrero Hill Parents

The site itself is WP 2.0.2 with a completely custom style (widget-ready) and the following plugins:

    WP-Notable (for social bookmarking)

BDP RSS Aggregator (for news aggregation and for creating recent posts lists...by feeding category feeds from the site itself into the aggregator)

flickrRSS (for displaying recent thumbnails from PHP's public group photo pool)

IImage Broswer (for adding images to posts and pages)

runPHP (mainly for the Directory page...which uses WP's built in Links functionality. It's just a standard page with some HTML and the php function calls for link categories.)

    WP-ContactForm (for obvious reasons)

Tiger-Style Administration & Admin Drop Down Menu (because they like the interface)

Also, for the forums, I used Lussumo's Vanilla forums with a customized style.

Once v1 final of Vanilla comes out in a few weeks, the site will be even better because that version will allow for a way for WP and Vanilla to share the same User fields for a single login for both pieces of software.

    In depth critiques welcome. :)

Nice site - one of a few that really look like a website, more than a blog. (not sure if that was the intent or not, but nevertheless great work!)

bmg: That was my exact intention. I wanted the site to look like a regular site and not like a blog, even though it's using what is basically blog software. It's an example of what you can do with templates. My next WP project will be even farther out there with the templating. :)

HS: Thanks! This was the site I was talking about in my other threads over the last few days.

the 1600 pixels wide header graphic is cool :D
I like how it would look different on diff screen but always suggests the familiar street sign

    Dgold,

Thanks! That header is actually 11 different background graphics that are randomly rotated with a simple php script and css. :)
