I have noticed that there can be an issue with having images upload to a server when using the “Upload Image” option under “Manage Images”

In a default install, the images will upload to the /wp-content/plugins/wp-image-slider-with-lightbox/imagestoscroll folder. Many web servers will have default folder permissions set to 755 when a new folder is created. So therefore, the images will not upload, as that directory does not has permission to change the fodler’s content.

If you are seeing no images in the imagestoscroll folder after uploading images, check the permissions to make sure it is acutally set to 777. If not, set it to 777 and the images should now upload correctly.

This is something the plugin author might want to add in the next version.
