   After upgrading from 2.7.1 to 2.8 this message appeared...

   Database Upgrade Required

   WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to upgrade your database to the newest version.

   The upgrade process may take a little while, so please be patient.
   <Upgrade WordPress Database>

   Once <Upgrade..> was pushed this message came up...

   Upgrade Complete

   Your WordPress database has been successfully upgraded!

   Everything works fine except individual posts will not display encountering the message.

   The page you are trying to view is no longer avaliable. Please go to http://example.com and search from the home page.

   How can this be resolved? Thank you

   It might have something to do with your Permalinks.

   Check your .htaccess file

   Thank you Jawker,
   All I did was go into Permalink Settings, changed them to a different method. Site worked again, then changed it back to the methos I wanted and it still works.
