Hello, I just recently upgraded to 2.8. I am running theme verysimpletxt.
I created the blog prior to wp 2.8, but have just added the archive widget for the first time. however, my previously created posts will not show up in the archive. even though i have approx 20 posts over the course of 2 years, only a new post that I backdate will show up in the archive. I've done a few searches, but didn't find any help....

Sorry. I'm using 2.7.
I've figured out the problem, but not an efficient workaround.
I currently have all my posts set to private. If I set to public or password protect each post, archiving by month works just fine.
Is there a workaround for this, other than password protecting the whole site?
