   I'm going a bit crazy here. I'm using a custom theme and everything works fine; however the font for the post is set to 'Arial Unicode MS'; font-size: x-small;' even though it's nowhere on my theme CSS.

   After using Firebug, I noticed that the style is being hard-coded onto the HTML, so it's not coming from the CSS:

   When I select another theme, the font is still the same, it's like it's hard-coded in a file and I swear I have not messed with anything but the CSS.

   sounds like you inserted something from 'MS word' into your post.
   if you go to 'admin' 'edit post' and activate the 'html tab' in the editor, you can then see and remove the style.
