   I changed a bunch of pages to posts using MySql, not the WP interface. There are 350 to do, that's why.

   I thought changing their post_category to 60 would do it. Not so.

   Is the category association defined by something other than wp_posts.post_category?

   Yep, categories are kept in the terms tables.
