• On screen options in the admin area I’ve set posts per page to 50, it seems to work on the All posts page but when I click on a Tag, I’m shown all posts with that Tag but it always shows 8 posts per page when I do that.

How can I get more posts per page no matter what?

I’ve been wanting to do this because I’m using Anything Order to drag and sort tagged posts, to show in custom order on my site. Problem is with them broken into pages I can’t drag items up or down from page to page so I want them all in the admin area on one page.

    I hope this makes sense.

tl;dr : How I show more than 8 posts per page when I click on a Tag in wp-admin?

Or, is there a better plugin than Anything Order that would let me sort tagged posts in custom order for the tag template?

I have attempted searching for a resolution to this with no luck, please help if possible, thanks.

  • what theme are you using?

the tag template might be overwriting the dashboard settings (?)

    Update:
So, I found part of my problem, in my functions I had something altering the query to 8 and corrected it.

Now my problem is Anything Order plugin gets confused with Tagged posts that have multiple tags.

Example, I click Tag A and re-order posts to my liking. I have this post we’ll call Foo and it’s tagged with both Tag A and Tag B.

When I drag Foo up in order for Tag A it also goes up in order for Tag B and messes up the order. Posts with just a single tag maintain their order with the Anything Order plugin, just not double tagged posts.

    Am using a custom theme.
