I want to be able to have the posting available. Right now the site is set up with only pages. I as admin created a post and i can find it knowing in advance the url. However i cannot put a menu item on the pages for the post. I also could not get the "recent comments" widget to come up on the pages.
I am using latest wordpress with flexx theme.
any help out there?

Did you drag the widget into the correct sidebar in admin?
It helps to post a link so people can see what you are referring to.
