i am getting an error when i go to the "blog" page of my wordpress site. the other wordpress pages show up fine, and even the individual posts, but not the main blog page. i have just reinstalled wordpress and it didn't fix the issue, so i am wondering if it is some setting that i have wrong... if only i knew what it was. Any ideas?

can you post the text of the error message (? if it is an error message)
    or give more details?

a link to your site might help to illustrate the issue

    Hi esmi!

it is the blog page that doesn't work, http://www.virtualitystudio.com/blog and that is why i'm so confused... even the single post pages work... just not the blog page.

Sounds like there's a problem with your theme's index.php template.

i tried a new theme and it didn't work, so i uninstalled everything and just imported back the posts into a fresh application. All works well now!

Try setting the "Category base" in "Settings/Permalinks" to something like: category. See if that works.

tried it... nothing happened. I have it set up as custom /%postname% and it works fine on my other site, don't know what is going on here...

omg! i just figured it out... all it was was a stupid little / missing from the end. needs to be /%postname%/

i feel sooo stupid, but relieved at the same time, lol!

Thank you all for your efforts, hopefully my little problem can help somebody else :)
