Posts on front page for limited time

    Hallo
    I’d like to keep some posts on main page for a certain time, no matter which category they belong to.
    I thought of two possible solutions:
    1 – create a “home page” category, and remove the post from that category after the desired time
    2 – use a tricky to add “home page expiration date” to the post’ meta data (could be a custom field).
    Any idea? TIA
