Hi I have been searching for this topic and cannot find anything to help, sorry if already asked.
I am using The Events Calendar v1.6.5 and wordpress v 3.4.1 with wordpress template theme 1208. My events calendar seems to be working ok, but my home page posts do not show under latest topics. If I edit a post so it is no longer an event, it will show on the home page again. Can someone help me make the posts show in both the calendar and home page?

Hey ncgsteve. Thanks for the note here, and for your use of The Events Calendar. Happy to help you out here best I can.

I will note that the 1.6.5 build is unfortunately extremely outdated and entirely unsupported at this time...when we launched The Events Calendar 2.0 last October, we dropped support for 1.6.5 with hopes users would switch to the new, stable & supported 2.0.

We're now up to 2.0.9 for The Events Calendar. If you're in a position to do so, you would be well-suited to back up and update to 2.0.9...it'd be a much smoother experience for you and your readers. Any chance that's something you might be able to do?

I have read the instruction and migrated my posts.
Help I cannot figure out why that are not showing?

    Thanks again for help.

Hey ncgsteve, thanks for the note here and apologies it took me some time to get you a response. Are the migrated events showing on the backend of your site, under the Events admin panel? If so, what happens if you try to click the "View" link associated with one (to view it on the frontend)? It's worth noting that you'll want to flush your permalinks (resave the permalinks page) before attempting this, just to be safe. Please also make sure you have pretty permalinks enabled - ie a structure like /%postname%/ - instead of default permalinks.

Let me know and we can try to help from there.

Are you all set here, ncgsteve? I'm going to assume so and mark this Resolved accordingly, but do let me know if you're in a bind and I'll troubleshoot best I can. Cheers!
