   After updating to 2.7 all the images contained inside all the posts disappeared.

   Where / what folder are images kept in 2.6.x, and where should they go for 2.7.

   Everything else updated perfectly.

   that shouldn't be the problem

   try resetting your permalinks
   admin - settings - permalinks

   I have the same problem as the OP. In the image manager all imnages are not correct anymore

   Every image before 2009 is not shown anymore, the files are stil there.
   The file url is completely wrong now
   http://weblog.hansotten.com/wp-content//data/members/paid/h/a/hansotten.com/htdocs/weblog/wp-content/2008/12/emulilith.jpg

   It should have been
   http://weblog.hansotten.com/wp-content/2008/12/emulilith.jpg

   Where does this added atring part come from?

   What have permalinks to do with image url's? Resetting how?

   WordPress itself is great, but the image manager is a piece of junk since a year now. Every upgrade causes all kind of problems with images not shwoing, disappearing, not being able to upload.
