    I have a custom menu and one of menus is a category that displays the posts marked in that category. It does exactly what I want it to do by pulling any posts in that category into the page. However, I have 2 small issues I need help with.

    1: Above my posts on the page it says: Category Archives: News
    - Is there a way to remove this?

    2: When it truncates the posts the "Read More…" link goes to a completely different page (not the home page either)..
    -How can I get it to show the rest of the post?

    Can you post a link to your site so we can take a look?

    For #1, add to the stylesheet:

    h2.page-title {
    display: none;
    }

    You can do this using the Custom CSS Manager plugin. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin/

    #2. Check the permalink for that news post, Introducing Grundéns Gage. You can also create another post and see if that post also has the same issue with the Read More link, as a way of isolating the problem.

    Thanks for this.. Sometimes the little things just don't jump out at you.

    Yeah, the permalink is defaulting to the contact page.. even when i create a new post.
