Hello,
It might be a novice question but I couldn't find an answer anywhere.
I want to write posts and define them in a way that they will only show in ONE certain tab.
Suppose I have 3 tabs: tab A, tab B, tab C
How can I write a new post and define it to appear only at tab B and not in the other two tabs?

You can create categories and when you post select the category that post belongs to and have category name in menu when some one clicks on category all posts in that category will display.

But this way the post will appear at the home tab AND in the category, won't it?
I want it to appear ONLY in a certain tab and not in the home tab.
So what are your Home for a post page or a static page.
Do you want to keep post page as well

Let me rephrase the question, maybe I wasn't clear.
I want to write a post, and let it appear ONLY in another page, not in my homepage.
Can I do that?

It is possible but need to know if your theme supports custom menu feature Click Appearance Menus look on left top box what is there.

That's what I get:
The current theme does not natively support menus, but you can use the “Custom Menu” widget to add any menus you create here to the theme’s sidebar
What does it mean? Can I do that?
If you want to use custom menu then there will need make changes in files.
What theme are you using can you post your url so that can see what we need to do to solve your problem

First its very hard to see those black fonts on blue background tabs.
your Original question what have decided on your home what do you want on there instead of post page.
The way understand is that you want category tabs and then your posts in respective category.
If you look at my website I have Recent News as My post page child are my categories and grandchild are my posts in respective category
Is this something you want.
