Posts getting indexed but only homepage is ranking on Google?

    Hoping this is a wider issue than just my site, but recently Google has stopped ranking some of my posts and instead shows the homepage of my site. Even if you paste in a paragraph on the unique content (non duplicated elsewhere) in speech marks, the homepage ranks not the blog post. In some cases the blogpost (despite being cached by Google) doesnt even show at all. Very weird. (FYI – the homepage and the blog posts are always cached immediately by Google so no worries there)

    I have the exact same issue .. I’ve tried everything with no results .. google doesn’t wanna show my single post … I’ve nonindex categories ,tags ,archive tags .. everything tha could possibly cause duplicate content issue …
    So did you resolve your issue? If yes can you please share the solution ?

    Make a Google Webmaster account. See if anything shows up.

    You don’t need to noindex cats and tags, by the way. Rel cannonical takes care of that.
