jooblygoopI'm trying to accommodate a request where the client has WordPress setup on their site, but they would like to only include the most recent posts of a single category on their front page. That part is easy enough.
However, they would like it so that if visitors click on one of those posts on the front page, they're taken to a WordPress page that displays those posts.
I realize that pages in WordPress shouldn't be mistaken as posts, which is one reason why I'm stuck on how to proceed. I believe there are various plug-ins that allow you to embed post content in a static page, but I'm not sure that would best suit this situation or not. These posts will most likely be listings for upcoming events/seminars.
If I can make this work dynamically, so that the client merely has to create the blog posts, that would be ideal. But I can't figure out how to accomplish this without having to edit the page and the front page separately whenever a new event is added.
I hope this makes sense. Any suggestions/questions welcome.
