   After upgrading my installation to 3.3.1. my blog only shows posts up to 2009. These posts are also listed under 'recent posts'.

   Inside my database (wp_posts) my newer posts are listed, so they're not gone, just not showing.

   I tried restoring the database backup I made before I upgraded, but the file appears to be too big for phpmyadmin to restore it.

   I'm really in stress about this, any help would be appreciated...

   This happened to me also, did you manage to solve the problem?

   I figured it out! It was a plugin called Alkivia SidePosts, when I deactivated it, it fixed the problem.
