• Hi

I am working on a site that I have inherited from someone else. It has been created using the theme limon and I think a little bit of customising has been applied.

I wanted to create a blog for this site so I created a blank page called blog and in the theme settings assigned this page as the blog page. However, this page doesn’t display any content (http://eyecareopticians.co.uk/blog/) but you can see the recents posts listed in the ‘recent posts’ on the right hand sidebar and the posts are live when you click on the links here. There is also an option to view recent posts on the home page and when I switch this on – the posts display.

I have deactivated all my plugins (both in the dashboard and via FTP) and switching themes but there is no difference – the blog page is still blank. It’s as if there is something missing in the code which ‘pulls’ the content in to the page.

I have hunted the forums but cannot find any solution! I would be very grateful if someone can shed some light on this for me.

    Many thanks

  • If the php file that normally would display the blog has been customized, that could account for the problem. Try switching to a different theme and using the same settings there. If that works, then customization of the theme is probably the reason for the problem.
