    i've posted my template to

    i want to have posts displayed on pages, as well as the page data

    the posts display properly, but my page data does not display at all

    probly something stupid i missed

    i want to have static content for the page, and then have posts within the page

    that way seems pretty complicated..

    would it be easier to assign a IF statement to the page #, and have the "content" for each page in a seperate IF statement

    Well, if that's complicated... consider that your "simple" way doesn't work. You are the one who is over-complicating it. You cannot mix Pages and posts.

    What is the 'static content' you want there?

    say its a page about trees.

    i want to have some info about trees, that would stay the same always.

    then be able view posts underneath it

    That's exactly what the category templates do.

    i could see that, i was just wondering if there was another way to do it. like i stated earlier....
