   When I post an article and click publish, post.php times out and returns "cannoit find server" page.

   The post is added and viewable in the blog itself, but I never get returned to admin to post another article or anything. It times out and is stuck basically.

   There are no pictures or links in the post, just text.

   Yep, pingomatic will ping almost everything for you, when it's working. The big exception is probably going to be FeedBurner.

   ok, so pingomatic and feedburner......any others you recommend or will that cover it always?
