postname links not accessible but default permlinks accessible

    I am not sure why this issue is arising. When i change the permalinks settings to Default from the wp-admin/settings/permalinks, it works. But when i change it to Post Name, it doesn’t work. I get the error – Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Did you try browsing your site using different browsers? Sometimes browser settings can cause such errors. If you get the same error when using different browsers, deactivate all the plugins and see if it helps. Some plugins are also known to cause similar problems.
