   Hi,

   Before I was able to change the permalink to a custom structure with %postnmae% in Setting > Permalinks >Custom Structure but it does not work any longer. I got error 404 - Page Not Found if I change it the default settings.

   Please help where should I go to edit and fix this

   Do you have any custom post types or custom taxonomies? Some times the rewrite names of these can clash with page names, causing errors like this.

   I'd also try deleting your .htaccess file and then resaving your permalinks to allow WP to recreate the file.
