Postings fail to appear

once a post is completed we used to have to press a button marked “Publish” that button has vanished and been replaced by “Submit for review”. We didn’t make this change and our “user role” remains “administrator” can anyone point me in the right direction. The change happened after a brief period of downtime with our hosting package. I did also complete a post to see if it would come through to our registered email foe “review” but it didn’t.
