Posting “visual” vs. “HTML”

    I started to post and noticed that my tabs for Visual and HTML which usually reside on the top right of the post box are gone! What I have left are html tags. Can anyone help point out what the hell I did???? I’m using a mac with 10.5.7 and Firefox 3.0.12 Thanx!

    Hi,

    Reinstall wp-admin and wp-includes folder of your blog. If it does not work then upgrade your wordpress to the latest version. [2.8.3]

    Disable all the plugins and have a check. After that enable one by one to find out the culprit.

    Make sure that you have enable visual editor for your blog from settings section in wordpress admin area.

    Thanx Shane. I did everything you recommend. It didn’t help. I started looking for the “enable visual editor” check box in the settings area. IT isn’t there! That’s where it should be – right? But it isn’t. I finally found it. The knucklehead who wrote the program put it under “users” and “profile”!!!! What a crazy place to put it! Thank you for helping me. You led me to it. Thanx!
